Shutting down the Code Interpreter API

Riza has announced the shutdown of its hosted Code Interpreter API, which will cease operations on October 1st, 2025, due to insufficient growth in demand for fast LLM-generated code execution. While new account signups are being disabled immediately, existing users can continue using the self-hosted container with an offline license key indefinitely. The API, introduced in April 2024, served developers needing efficient execution of agent-generated code, particularly in JavaScript and Python, but it failed to attract enough projects to justify continued investment. Users are advised to migrate their workloads to another provider within the next month to ensure uninterrupted service, and support for microVM-based custom runtimes will end on August 1st, 2025. Riza has communicated this decision to its users and encourages those affected to reach out via Discord or email for assistance with migration or further inquiries.
