The AI-in-Action award went to HomeVault, which applies AI to estimate home insurance needs by analyzing room photos, significantly reducing time for this task. The "Wait, Retool Can Do That?" award was claimed by Sorted, a file organization tool that uses OCR and AI to sort and rename files, showcasing Retool's potential for unexpected applications. Each winner received tech prizes and a year of Retool Business access, with the competition highlighting the ability to tackle tangible problems, leverage AI thoughtfully, and push platform boundaries.
