Welcoming Lucas da Costa, our new Software Engineer

Lucas da Costa has joined the Resend team following his role as CEO of Briefer and a stint as an engineer at Elastic, bringing his expertise in software development and enthusiasm for command-line interfaces, especially vim, evidenced by his :w tattoo. His early exposure to programming began with scripting for an online game, which led him to pursue a career in software because of its engaging nature, akin to playing video games. Lucas became involved with Resend due to his admiration for the company's rapid, high-quality work and attention to detail, a passion he shares due to his background and interests in architecture. Though he is committed to programming, Lucas also sees himself as a potential writer, given his love for reading and crafting words. He finds inspiration in books, architecture, and his experiences in London, where he lived for five years. His advice to software engineers is to develop a curiosity about the underlying mechanics of software, as understanding these layers can demystify problems and lead to clearer solutions.
