Isabella Aquino is a software engineer with a passion for both front-end and back-end development, currently working at Resend where she appreciates the team's dedication to crafting impactful software. Her journey into software began with a childhood curiosity about technology, influenced by her cousin's studies in computer science, which led her to combine her interests in problem-solving, building, and creativity. Prior to Resend, she contributed to building an influencer and affiliate marketing platform at Superfiliate and researched the application of LLMs and RAG in the legal sector for her Bachelor's thesis. Isabella draws inspiration from art, cultural events, and meaningful conversations with friends and family, and if not programming, she would pursue music production or a career as a professional athlete. Her favorite tools include the note-taking app Obsidian, and she enjoys visiting her hometown, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Her advice for aspiring software engineers emphasizes the importance of teamwork, shared vision, and personal growth in creating impactful software.
