Welcoming Gaby Garcia, our new Recruiter

Resend has hired Gaby Garcia as a full-cycle recruiter to support its growth through people-focused hiring, strategic sourcing, strong partnerships, and scalable recruiting processes. Garcia, who studied psychology and transitioned into recruiting after working in social psychology, spent the previous five years at Automattic recruiting engineers and designers, giving her experience with developers and the DevTools sector. She joined Resend because of its product, culture, and emphasis on meaningful work, learning, and belonging, and she draws inspiration from art, reading, music, pottery, Ikebana, and conversations with candidates. Outside recruiting, she would likely work with teenagers through teaching or volunteering, cites Argentinian Patagonia as a favorite destination, and advises recruiters to keep learning, welcome feedback, learn from skilled peers, and approach candidates with kindness.
