Welcoming Christina Martinez, our new Developer Experience Engineer

Christina Martinez is joining the Resend team as a Developer Experience Engineer, bringing with her a passion for coding that began unexpectedly while working in marketing at a tech company. Her journey into software development started with a Codecademy course and evolved into a full-time role in product development. Christina is inspired by whimsical and fun software projects, valuing creativity and joy in coding as a form of "magic power." Her previous experience includes creating content for Resend's .NET SDK, which sparked her interest in the company. Beyond software, she enjoys frequenting her local library's maker space and has a fondness for travel, particularly to Spain where she once lived and ran a personal training gym. Her advice to fellow software engineers is to embrace looking silly as a learning opportunity, fostering an environment where admitting one's lack of knowledge can lead to collective growth.
