Introducing Resend for Nonprofits
Blog post from Resend
Resend has launched a nonprofit program intended to reduce email infrastructure costs for qualifying charitable and public-benefit organizations, which depend on reliable delivery for donation receipts, volunteer communications, newsletters, and fundraising campaigns. Approved applicants receive a 50% discount on paid plans beginning with their next billing cycle, full access to Resend’s API, Broadcasts, and Automations, and direct human support from the company’s engineers. Eligibility is limited to officially registered nonprofits, charities, or tax-exempt public-benefit organizations, while government entities, political groups, educational institutions, hospitals, religious congregations, trade associations, and for-profit social enterprises are excluded. Organizations can apply by creating or using an existing Resend team, verifying their domain’s DNS records, and submitting an application that Resend validates through government registers or supporting documentation. The program has already enrolled some early organizations, including AuthentiSci, and Resend plans to highlight participants and their impact as the initiative expands.
