AWS re:Invent showcased several new announcements, including the launch of Amazon EC2 Hpc6id instances designed to enhance performance for memory-bound workloads, which is particularly beneficial for Rescale customers focused on high-performance computing (HPC). These instances, now available on Rescale under the name "Caesium," are powered by 3rd Generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors and feature high memory bandwidth and low latency networking through Elastic Fabric Adapter, enabling the resolution of complex and data-intensive tasks. Rescale, collaborating with AWS and Intel, leverages these advancements to support industries such as aerospace, automotive, and life sciences in achieving R&D breakthroughs. Additional EC2 instances like C6in, R6in, and M6in were also introduced, further expanding AWS's compute capabilities. Rescale's Compute Recommendation Engine assists customers in selecting the best AWS infrastructure for their specific needs, while a free trial offers new users a chance to experience the benefits of these cutting-edge technologies.
