Marwan and Salwa, a London-based couple, created Sweet Dreams, an app designed to help diabetic patients and their families collaboratively manage health, inspired by the challenge of monitoring Marwan's younger brother's diabetes from afar. Dissatisfied with existing apps, they developed Sweet Dreams to provide real-time blood sugar monitoring and custom notifications, crucial for preventing emergencies. Marwan utilized Replit to swiftly build and enhance the app, benefiting from the platform's tools and AI to accelerate his development process despite limited Python knowledge. Salwa played a key role in ensuring the app met customer needs, expanding its functionality beyond a personal project to a commercially viable product. Replit has been integral to the app's growth, serving as both a development tool and a partner in innovation, supporting Sweet Dreams from its initial prototype to its expanding user base. The app is available on the iOS App Store, with future releases planned for the Apple Watch.
