Replit is releasing a suite of new features to improve its code editing experience. The new features include automatic indentation detection, which automatically detects and applies the correct indentation units for files. Additionally, Replit now shows the current indentation settings in the status bar and allows users to change these settings, convert between different indentation units, and re-indent files. The platform also becomes smarter at pasting code, analyzing copied lines and re-indenting them to match the destination's indentation. Furthermore, a new setting allows users to show whitespace in the editor, with customizable options for what kinds of whitespace are displayed.
