Priyaa and Purvanshi founded Lica, a content creation platform designed to simplify video production with a single click, following Priyaa's successful creation of DocuTok, an app that transforms dull documents into engaging content. Priyaa, a former product manager at major tech firms, utilized Replit and AI to rapidly prototype her ideas during the Craft Ventures AI Hackathon, where she won a grand prize for her innovative approach. Despite her success with DocuTok, Priyaa sought to explore additional concepts, eventually evolving her project into Lica with Purvanshi, whom she met through a mutual friend.
