Replit has introduced Fast Mode, a new feature designed to allow users to quickly and precisely guide their Agents in making small, targeted adjustments. This feature addresses user feedback indicating a desire for the simplicity of making quick fixes, despite the increased autonomy of the Replit Agent. Fast Mode utilizes an efficient Agentic model that is both powerful and cost-effective compared to Build mode, enabling users to achieve rapid results with minimal steps. It can be activated by clicking a lightning bolt icon and allows users to communicate requests in natural language. Fast Mode aims to facilitate more natural collaboration, providing users with greater control, faster iteration, and improved feedback loops. Available for free to all Replit users for a limited time, Fast Mode promises to make implementing changes feel seamless and intuitive.
