With the launch of "Generate code", Replit is bringing its artificial intelligence-powered feature to all subscribers of its Hacker Plan, allowing users to state their desired code and have it automatically generated. The goal of this feature is to reduce the time from idea to running code as close to zero as possible, making it easier for both beginners and experienced programmers to create software. This feature uses a large language model trained on massive datasets, including code and natural language, to provide users with their best attempt at what they requested, although results may not always be perfect. The "Generate code" feature is now available in the Replit workspace, where users can access it from the context menu and try different prompts to achieve the desired outcome.
