Bring Your Own Cloud to Replit
Blog post from Replit
Replit has introduced Bring Your Own Cloud options for enterprise customers using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, aiming to keep development, production, company data, and applications within customer-controlled cloud environments while preserving the standard Replit building experience. Full BYOC, available in private preview, deploys the complete Replit platform—including compute, storage, integrations, publishing, and the Agent harness—inside a customer’s cloud tenant, offering the greatest isolation but requiring substantial setup. BYOC for Published Apps, in early access, keeps the Replit platform managed by Replit while hosting published applications and their private infrastructure in the customer’s cloud, with private networking, encrypted tunnels, infrastructure-as-code deployment, and optional customer-managed encryption keys. Image Exports, also in early access, supplies Docker images, Terraform files, and software bills of materials for organizations that want to deploy and operate Replit-built applications entirely through their own infrastructure processes, though they must provide services such as authentication and connectors. Replit’s cellular architecture supports distinct security, regional, staging, and business-unit needs, allowing organizations to combine Replit-managed and customer-hosted environments as required.
