Replicated's March 2024 release highlights several new features and enhancements, including support for multi-node OpenShift clusters and extended support for EKS 1.23 and 1.24, which come with additional costs. The release also introduces the ability to deploy EKS clusters with multiple node groups, offering flexibility in node types, including GPU and ARM nodes. Updates to the Vendor Portal allow vendors to set custom IDs for customers, filter customer instances by specific IDs, and implement improved proxy registry image access controls. Additionally, vendors can now pin customer licenses to specific application versions, enhancing control over software distribution. The release includes improved validation for support bundles in air gap telemetry, easier connection to Google Artifact Registry, and a beta version for single-node embedded cluster installations. The product documentation has been updated with a new platform diagram and a tutorial on adding preflights to a Helm chart, aimed at streamlining the installation process.
