The May 2025 release highlights from Replicated introduce several updates for the Embedded Cluster and Replicated SDK. The Embedded Cluster now supports configuring the kubelet, allowing vendors to modify settings like maxParallelImagePulls for parallel image pulls and increasing maxPods to run more pods on a single node. Users are automatically prompted to enable high availability (HA) when joining nodes, simplifying the process. The Replicated SDK has expanded its Helm values to include new configuration options, such as setting custom annotations and resource requirements. Additionally, the documentation has been enhanced with a new troubleshooting page for Embedded Clusters and a feature allowing users to access or copy the markdown version of docs pages, facilitating easier sharing and integration with large language models (LLMs).
