Replicate is joining Cloudflare

Replicate announced its integration with Cloudflare, maintaining its brand while enhancing its capabilities through the resources and infrastructure provided by Cloudflare's Developer Platform. The move aims to improve speed and integration without altering the existing API or affecting current models in use. Replicate's mission is to create foundational tools and abstractions for AI that enable developers to use AI without deep technical knowledge, akin to a distributed operating system for AI running in the cloud. Cloudflare's robust network and tools like Workers, Durable Objects, R2, and WebRTC are seen as the perfect complement to Replicate’s offerings, allowing for the expansion of higher-level abstractions, model orchestration, and real-time or edge model execution. The collaboration aspires to establish a new default for building AI applications, leveraging Cloudflare's established reputation and infrastructure to scale Replicate's vision.
