Replay has launched its first case study featuring Pantheon.io, showcasing how the platform has facilitated the expansion of Pantheon's engineering team and enhanced collaboration among team members. The case study is available on replay.io, with more stories promised soon. Replay has made significant performance improvements, such as reducing page load times and decreasing the time to start replays from 23 seconds to under a second, partly by optimizing source map hashing and improving backend caching. The company has also been working on a new Console integrated into existing DevTools, adopting Playwright for visual regression testing, and implementing a Suspense Cache for enhanced functionality. Additionally, Replay has transitioned from NPM to Yarn, upgraded to Next 12.2, which has halved build times, and made enhancements to its Library routing and code coverage reporting, while addressing scope mapping bugs to better manage naming collisions.
