New Region in Early Access: Virginia (US East)

Render has announced the early access availability of its new region in Virginia (US East), which will transition to general availability on August 5, 2024. This addition aims to reduce latency for services and users in the area and offers a seamless selection process through the Render Dashboard or Infrastructure-as-Code with Render Blueprints. While existing services cannot be moved directly to the new region, users can create new services there and migrate their data and configurations. The Virginia region is feature-complete, matching the capabilities of other Render regions such as Oregon, Ohio, Frankfurt, and Singapore. The early access phase allows Render to address any potential issues as they arise, ensuring a robust deployment environment. Render encourages user feedback on future region expansions and promises a reliable, cost-effective cloud infrastructure to enhance developer experiences.
