Expanding Global Reach: APAC & U.S. East
Blog post from Render
Render has announced the expansion of its services with new local hosting options in the U.S. East (Ohio) and Asia-Pacific (Singapore) regions, aiming to enhance user experience by reducing network latency and improving performance for end-users. This strategic move addresses the underserved Asia-Pacific market, offering a local alternative to the dominant cloud providers, and aims to decrease latency by up to 90% in the region. U.S. customers will also benefit from a 25% reduction in latency with the new Ohio region. The expansion allows customers to run Render workloads closer to existing infrastructure, facilitating smoother migrations and better performance. Early adopters from various industries, including software, real estate, and ecological plumbing, have already started using these services, noting improved response times and seamless integration with their operations. Render plans further expansion into regions such as U.S. Virginia, Tokyo, Sydney, and Mumbai, and invites user input on prioritizing future locations through their Feature Requests site.
