Render has introduced an enhanced Metrics page in its dashboard, providing developers with improved observability for app and network performance. This update allows for detailed inspection of compute resources such as memory, CPU, and disk usage, both in aggregate and on a per-instance basis, which aids in identifying performance issues in specific instances. For network metrics, users can now view HTTP request volumes segmented by response code, as well as inspect HTTP response times with filtering options available for certain plans. The page also includes outbound bandwidth usage metrics and supports custom time ranges, allowing for a more granular analysis of service performance.
