The balancing subsystem uses a centralized planner that continuously evaluates the cluster's state and adjusts partition distribution to prevent entropy accumulation, ensuring the cluster remains resilient. Accessible with a Redpanda Enterprise license, Continuous Data Balancing simplifies cluster management by reducing administrative overhead and enhancing fault tolerance, with easy configuration options and monitoring available through Redpanda's CLI.
