The release also debuts Centralized Configuration, facilitating easier cluster-wide settings management, and Maintenance Mode, allowing for downtime-free node maintenance by migrating partition leadership. Additionally, Rack Awareness enhances data resilience by distributing data across different failure zones, while Consumer Offsets and Idempotent Producers improve interoperability and communication stability, respectively.
