August 2021 updates

In August 2021, Redocly introduced several updates and enhancements across its product line, notably releasing version 1.1 of the Developer Portal, which integrates the revamped Reference docs. This release includes new features such as the Redocly OpenAPI VSCode extension for writing and validating OpenAPI documents, improved UI for Workflows, and enhanced error messaging for OIDC. Additionally, the API registry now supports asset uploads, allowing for better data management and collaboration. The Developer Portal received a visual overhaul, with improved search functionality and support for Git submodules, and a new automated link checker was introduced. Documentation efforts have been bolstered by contributions from the Google Season of Docs initiative, focusing on updating and expanding content, including a new information architecture for better usability. Redocly also transitioned from a Texas LLC to a Delaware C-corporation, now operating as Redocly Inc. with updated legal documentation.
