In October 2025, Redis introduced several notable updates and integrations that enhance its functionality and developer experience. Redis collaborated with Microsoft to integrate with the new Agent Framework, enabling the creation of scalable applications on Azure, and released the Redis MCP Server in the Gemini CLI for efficient data management in agentic applications. A new Redis Vector Store Node was added to the n8n automation platform, enhancing vector storage capabilities, and Redis Software version 7.22.2 was launched, featuring a security update allowing customers to use their own trusted certificates. Additionally, Redis unveiled a new Redis Insight Cloud UI for improved data interaction, and announced Metrics Engine 2.0 for real-time observability, along with a tutorial for setting up a monitoring stack using Prometheus and Grafana. The acquisition of FeatureForm was also announced, enhancing Redis's capability to manage machine learning features effectively.
