Announcing Redis Community Edition and Redis Stack 7.4

Redis has released version 7.4 of its Community Edition and Stack, which includes several key features such as hash field expiration, new vector data types to improve memory usage, time series insertion filters, improved developer experience, and enhanced geospatial search capabilities. The community has been requesting better control over hash fields, which is now possible with the addition of this feature, allowing users to expire individual fields in a hash data structure. Additionally, Redis 7.4 includes significant improvements in handling indexing and querying of empty and missing fields, as well as new geospatial search capabilities such as INTERSECT and DISJOINT operators. The release also marks the first time Redis is dual-licensed under RSALv2 and SSPLv1, with Community Edition being available for free to users.
