RTMP (Real-Time Messaging Protocol) and RTSP (Real-Time Streaming Protocol) are two pivotal streaming protocols that have significantly influenced media delivery. The choice between RTMP and RTSP depends on specific streaming needs, with RTMP excelling in scenarios where reliability and widespread platform support are crucial, and RTSP being optimal for low-latency, device-based streaming.
