Red5 Pro Server Release 7.2.11 introduces the Node Checker feature, designed for real-time monitoring of server environments to detect and eliminate corrupted nodes, thereby enhancing the performance of Red5 Pro setups. The Node Checker is comprised of three components: Read Node, Sunset Node, and Terminate Node, and is integrated within a Red5 Pro Autoscaling environment to ensure optimal WebRTC functionality across all nodes. If an issue arises on a specific edge, the Sunset Node will alert the Stream Manager to prevent new client connections to that node, while simultaneously provisioning a new edge instance. Once all existing clients have disconnected from the faulty node, it is removed by the Stream Manager and Terminate Node. Additionally, the release includes an updated cloud storage plugin for AWS S3 to resolve API-related issues, and the Red5 Team offers expertise in live video, audio, and data streaming, supporting innovation and scalability for various organizations.
