Red5 Pro Partners with Zixi

Red5 Pro has partnered with Zixi to integrate the Zixi Software-Defined Video Platform (SDVP) into the Red5 Pro WebRTC server, resulting in a robust, reliable, and scalable live video distribution platform with latencies under 500 milliseconds. This collaboration is expected to enhance the broadcasting of live entertainment and sports events, as well as support complex security solutions and growth in industries like online gambling and auctions. Chris Allen, co-founder and CEO of Red5, brings over two decades of expertise in video streaming and real-time systems, having led innovations such as the reverse-engineering of the RTMP protocol to create an open-source alternative to Adobe's Flash Communication Server. Under his leadership, Red5 continues to advance low-latency, synchronized video experiences and is currently exploring AI integration and real-time streaming to develop intelligent video applications.
