MCP Metrics: See how agents use your API and docs
Blog post from ReadMe
ReadMe’s MCP Metrics, available through the Ask AI Addon, tracks calls to a project’s MCP server so teams can monitor which AI clients, tools, endpoints, searches, statuses, and response times are involved in agent activity. Its analytics help identify popular clients for compatibility testing, inspect individual tool calls and API operations, review search queries that may reveal documentation gaps, and filter failures or slow requests by client, tool, API definition, status, and duration. Teams can use p95 response-time data, operation IDs, and before-and-after date comparisons to investigate issues and assess fixes while accounting for changes in call volume. MCP Metrics is accessible in ReadMe under Analytics > Docs > MCP, while MCP servers can be enabled under AI > MCP and shared with developers for client connection and configuration.
