Edit Once, Update Everywhere: Reusable Content Comes to ReadMe
Blog post from ReadMe
As 2023 comes to a close, ReadMe introduces the Reusable Content feature for Business and Enterprise users, enabling Project Admins to efficiently manage documentation by creating content blocks that can be used across multiple pages and locations. This feature automatically updates content whenever edits are made, reducing the risk of outdated information and streamlining the documentation process. Reusable Content supports all Markdown elements, including images and code snippets, enhancing the flexibility and scalability of documentation efforts. Enterprise users benefit from a global Reusable Content page for cross-project management, while Business users can create and edit blocks within their projects. This feature aims to improve workflow efficiency, minimize human error, and unify communication across API documentation, ultimately allowing teams to focus more on direct developer support and less on manual updates.
