Raycast's first Launch Week, held from July 18 to July 22, was packed with announcements and updates aimed at enhancing user experience and fostering community engagement. The week commenced with community stories, showcasing how users from prominent companies utilize Raycast. A redesigned app icon and refreshed app experience were introduced, along with a new Compact Mode that simplifies navigation. Collaborating with designer James McDonald, Raycast rolled out a consistent icon set, enabling faster and more uniform icon creation. Raycast for Teams was officially launched, offering features like shareable Quicklinks and Snippets to streamline team workflows. Menu Bar Commands were introduced in beta, providing developers the ability to create extensions for quick access to information. Several API updates were implemented, including Background Refresh for Extensions and new React hooks, while some extensions were migrated to TypeScript and open-sourced.
