QuestDB is an open-source time-series database designed for high-demand workloads, offering ultra-low latency, high ingestion throughput, and a versatile storage engine with native support for Parquet and SQL. The company has a strong connection to Ukraine, with co-founder Vlad and engineers Alex and Eugene being Ukrainian. Due to the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, Eugene and his family have been forced to seek shelter in a bunker, yet he remains committed to his work, joining meetings amidst the turmoil. QuestDB expresses solidarity with its Ukrainian employees and urges its community to support Ukraine through donations and other means. The company is actively providing logistical support and security updates to its staff, while a fellow Y Combinator founder is raising funds on the ground in Moldova and Romania. QuestDB appreciates the support from its stakeholders and hopes for a swift restoration of peace in the region.
