Blog post from Qovery
Qovery's V3 introduces several enhancements aimed at improving the organization's ability to manage roles, permissions, and deployment processes efficiently. The update includes the Permissions and Role Management feature, which allows organization owners to define specific roles and responsibilities for their members. Infrastructure logs have been optimized for better debugging and visibility, and application deployment has been expanded to support container registries directly, streamlining the process to two steps. The Lifecycle Jobs feature provides automation for environment-specific tasks, while Cronjobs allow for scheduled tasks on Kubernetes clusters. Environment variables have been enhanced with a new "variable as a file" format and interpolation capabilities, offering greater flexibility in managing application configurations. The Deployment Pipeline feature allows for the ordered execution of deployment stages, and a new billing interface is now integrated into the V3 platform. Advanced settings provide additional customization options for RAM, storage, and networks, catering to specific industry needs. The console has been rebuilt in React, emphasizing collaboration and cost optimization for Platform Engineers and Engineering Teams, and the open-source nature of the console encourages community contributions.
