Qovery Demo Day Summary - December 2022

As the fourth quarter concludes, Qovery reflects on a productive month with notable updates, including deployment logs in their V3 interface, accessibility improvements aligned with WCAG 2 Level AA Conformance, and a new partnership with Gitpod to enhance testing environments. During a team retrospective, key insights were shared, such as the significance of Roles-Based Access Control (RBAC) and the addition of a shell feature to the Qovery CLI, which allows easier debugging. The Terraform Provider is highlighted as a crucial tool for DevOps Engineers to automate infrastructure processes, while the transition from Angular to React for the V3 web console was deemed successful by the frontend team. Partnerships are evaluated based on shared values and customer feedback, aiming to deliver complementary benefits. The introduction of infrastructure logs to the UI has improved error reporting, and new container capabilities allow users greater flexibility with custom images. HR challenges in 2022 focused on hiring and establishing company culture, with the development of variables across different platforms being the most challenging feature.
