Summary

Qovery has introduced a new pricing model aimed at reducing stress and providing greater predictability for its users by shifting from a deployment-based fee to a user-based fee structure. Previously, Qovery charged $50 per 100 deployments per month, which led some users to disable features due to unpredictable billing. The new pricing model charges $49 per month per active user, defined as someone who has made a code change on Git or deployed an application in the last 30 days, excluding contributions to public repositories. The free plan remains unchanged, now offering access to the Preview Environment Feature, while the former Professional Plan, now renamed the Team Plan, includes unlimited deployments and environments with charges based on active users. The Business Plan has been removed, and the Enterprise Plan continues to offer features like unlimited clusters and advanced security. For new customers, the pricing change is already in effect, while it will be implemented for existing monthly customers from October 2022 and upon renewal for yearly customers. This new structure is designed to empower users by providing transparency and predictability, allowing them to focus on deployment without worrying about increased costs.
