GPU workloads on EKS just got way simpler with Qovery
Blog post from Qovery
Qovery significantly simplifies GPU provisioning on Amazon EKS by automating tasks that previously required manual configuration, such as defining node pools and installing NVIDIA plugins, thus reducing DevOps overhead. It allows users to easily enable GPU node pools, choose instance types, and set cluster-wide or application-specific GPU limits, mixing On-Demand and Spot instances for cost optimization. The platform automatically manages the technical backend, including the installation of the NVIDIA Kubernetes Device Plugin and selecting the most cost-effective instance types using Karpenter. This automation enables rapid deployment of GPU-powered applications on EKS clusters, eliminating the need for manual setup and ongoing maintenance traditionally involved in managing GPU workloads on Kubernetes. By bridging the complexity gap in GPU management, Qovery facilitates access to powerful GPUs with minimal effort, empowering users to focus on running compute-heavy workloads like model training and inference pipelines.
