Qodo Build Your Own Agent Challenge

Qodo has launched the Build Your Agent Campaign to encourage developers to create innovative AI-powered agents using Qodo Command, a CLI tool designed to enhance the software development lifecycle by automating tasks such as code review, testing, and CI/CD processes. Qodo Command allows developers to define custom agents that can automate workflows, interact through terminals or web interfaces, and integrate seamlessly into existing systems using a .toml configuration format. The campaign offers $2,000 prizes in categories like clean code, reliable code, quality automation, and complex codebases, aiming to showcase how these agents can improve code quality and streamline development. Examples of community-built agents include the Package Health Reviewer, which assesses package dependencies' health, and others focusing on accessibility, performance optimization, and automated test fixes. The initiative is part of Qodo's broader effort to integrate AI into software development, led by Elana Krasner, Director of Product Marketing at Qodo.
