Qase’s July updates focused on expanding access beyond the browser through a rebuilt open-source MCP server and more flexible dashboard sharing. MCP 2.0 reduces its AI-agent toolset from 83 low-level tools to 30 task-oriented tools, adds on-demand tool discovery, composite workflows for common actions such as reporting CI runs and triaging defects, QQL query support, and direct REST API access, while a hosted version is in development. Dashboard improvements include two-click cloning of accessible dashboards, preserving widgets and configurations for reuse across projects, and optional password protection for public dashboard links. The update also recaps June releases, including two-way Notion and Microsoft Teams integrations, expanded AI Test Designer context and file support, redesigned AI test authoring with Android cloud testing, natural-language generation of QQL analytics queries, additional dashboard filters, and platform performance and traceability-management updates.
