Qase Product Updates: August 2026

Qase’s August updates focus on reducing the time required to investigate failed tests, update outdated automation, and assess QA data. Playwright traces can now be opened and replayed directly within Qase, while the new Autofixer copies a context-rich prompt from failed runs for use with an AI coding agent, which proposes test updates for human review rather than making autonomous changes. The Quality Supervisor plugin for MCP-compatible AI clients analyzes Qase data to identify coverage gaps, triage failures, assess test flakiness, and evaluate release readiness, with safeguards including visible underlying queries, approval requirements for bulk writes, and no deletion capability. Qase also introduced a Test Case Review API, including bulk creation of up to 100 reviews, though final approval and merging remain UI-only. Reporting enhancements include QQL support for untested results, optional weekly email summaries of automated runs, and Natural Language Queries for Dedicated clusters, allowing users to generate and inspect QQL through plain-English requests.
