Playwright Trace Viewer is now available in Qase

Qase now enables users to view Playwright test traces directly from a test run result through a Play Trace button, eliminating the need to download trace.zip files or use external tools such as trace.playwright.dev. The feature is intended to simplify debugging failed end-to-end tests, which may fail either because of unintended defects or expected business-logic and UI changes. Rather than relying solely on stack traces, local debug-mode setups, or manually locating and uploading trace files, users can open a separate Qase trace viewer tab to replay the full test execution up to its breakpoint. An example involving a dark-theme UI update showed how the trace quickly revealed that a test depended on a specific dropdown-menu closing behavior, allowing the issue to be identified within seconds.
