Qase.io recently introduced several new features, including shared steps, import/export capabilities, test plans, test runs, a defects management system, and a reworked repository, all developed with user feedback in mind. Shared steps enhance the test suite functionality by allowing separate steps to be attached to specific test cases, while the import/export feature facilitates migration from other test management systems like TestRail and TestLink. The test plan functionality enables users to define the scope and resources of testing activities, and the newly added test runs provide a comprehensive dashboard with statistics such as completion rates and team performance. Additionally, a simple defect management system was implemented, allowing defects to be tracked from open to resolved status. The repository has been reworked for a more compact and user-friendly interface, with improvements such as priority icons and test case previews. Looking ahead, Qase.io plans to integrate with Jira and enhance the user interface, while also teasing upcoming innovative features.
