Pydantic Logfire Pricing is Changing

Logfire is updating its pricing structure starting January 1, 2026, due to the growing use of its platform for large-scale production workloads on the free tier, which indicates that its previous pricing model was unsustainable. The new structure will maintain the existing $2/million spans price, with the Personal plan remaining free and offering substantial resources such as 10 million logs/spans/metrics per month, while introducing paid Team and Growth plans for $49/month and $249/month respectively, each providing different levels of access, project capabilities, and support. This adjustment aims to align Logfire's pricing with its value as a critical production tool, ensuring the sustainability of the business while still offering competitive and generous options compared to other AI observability platforms. Existing users have a grace period until February 1, 2026, to adapt to the new plans, and the company is open to feedback and flexible solutions, particularly for students, non-profits, and early-stage startups.
