Tisane Block for Natural Language Processing in 27 Languages
Blog post from PubNub
Natural language processing (NLP) is a crucial branch of artificial intelligence that enables the analysis of large sets of structured or unstructured data, providing insights by gauging sentiment, parsing text, extracting topics, tagging hate speech, and identifying criminal activity. The Tisane Block, developed by Tisane Labs, has been added to PubNub’s list of AI/machine learning services, allowing users to integrate NLP capabilities into their data streams without the need for additional infrastructure, as the service is entirely serverless. The Tisane Block offers features such as granular sentiment analysis, detection of abuse, topic modeling, part of speech tagging, entity extraction, and sense disambiguation, supporting 27 languages. Use cases for the Tisane Block include real-time moderation of content in chat environments, automatic note-taking by extracting and saving specific details from conversations, and using topic extraction for contextual advertising. The integration helps manage community interactions by providing tools to handle abusive behavior and gather statistical insights into community dynamics.
