Product Release: Events & Actions Free Preview

PubNub has introduced the Events & Actions feature, available for free with limitations from May 24 to August 31, 2022, which allows users to filter and manage events within Virtual Spaces through a user-friendly interface. This system enhances user interaction by enabling developers to write application code that responds to events such as joining a chat, sending or updating messages, and more. Events & Actions helps bridge the gap between developers and non-technical stakeholders by providing insights into user interactions, thus facilitating the creation of new, no-code features. For instance, the feature can be utilized in live event platforms for sentiment analysis by filtering message events or in geolocation and smart sensor applications to trigger actions based on specific data or metadata. This tool aims to empower users by offering greater visibility and control over meaningful events, enhancing the value delivered through their applications.
