$11M Series B to Fuel Growth of Global Real-Time Network

PubNub, a company that developed a real-time network to simplify the creation, deployment, and scaling of real-time applications for developers, has announced a successful Series B funding round, securing $11 million led by Scale Venture Partners, with participation from existing investors Relay Ventures and TiE Angels. Since its inception in 2009, PubNub has achieved a 200-fold increase in traffic over the past 18 months and now supports thousands of applications, streaming over three million messages per second to more than 100 million devices monthly. The newly acquired funding will be used to expand PubNub's international presence by enhancing its sales and marketing efforts and continuing to innovate its platform for developing real-time applications.
