Prowler July 2026 Newsletter
Blog post from Prowler
Prowler’s July 2026 newsletter announces expanded cloud-security capabilities across AI investigation, automated remediation, onboarding, compliance, and provider coverage. Lighthouse AI now uses GPT-5.6 Terra to support real-time, read-only investigations, including findings analysis, configuration and activity review, attack-path queries, scan scheduling, and mute-rule management, while persistent sessions and shared business context improve continuity. Prowler Cloud also introduced a remote MCP Server and Claude Code plugin for AI-assisted security triage and remediation, alongside one-click AWS Organization onboarding through CloudFormation StackSets, reusable scan configurations, and a structured finding lifecycle. Secret detection has been enhanced with Kingfisher filtering and optional live credential validation, while cross-provider compliance reporting combines results across supported clouds for CIS Controls 8.1, CSA CCM 4.0, and DORA. New and updated coverage includes CIS benchmarks across major platforms, Okta scanning, VMware Cloud Foundation and Linode support, and additional checks for AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and Kubernetes. The company also announced its participation at Black Hat USA 2026 in Las Vegas, where it will exhibit at booth 5913.
