Announcing Enterprise MCP
Blog post from PropelAuth
PropelAuth has launched Enterprise MCP, a feature that lets business customers manage employee AI-agent access to MCP servers through existing identity providers such as Okta and Microsoft Entra. Building on Enterprise SSO and SCIM, it links identity-provider groups and roles to MCP scopes, enabling IT teams to control which employees may connect AI assistants and which actions those assistants can perform within selected organizations. While role-based scopes can govern standard permissions, Enterprise MCP also supports direct group-to-scope mappings for cases where agent permissions should differ from an employee’s normal application access, including a “No access” option that overrides other group permissions. The service works with existing OAuth-based MCP clients rather than requiring adoption of emerging standards such as Cross-App Access or ID-JAG, and it updates permissions through login-based SSO changes or SCIM provisioning. Enterprise MCP is offered on PropelAuth’s Growth and Growth Plus plans for $50 per connection, with identity-provider-specific configuration guides and documentation available.
