Visual editing allows users to manage, organize, and update website content intuitively without needing coding skills, benefiting non-technical users. The article explores two primary approaches to visual editing in headless CMSs: content-focused visual page builders, exemplified by Prismic's new Page Builder, and the live preview with sidebar approach, used by platforms like Builder.io and Storyblok. The former offers an intuitive and flexible interface, allowing easy rearrangement and creativity without requiring developer input, while the latter provides real-time changes with a familiar but potentially crowded interface. Both approaches aim to simplify content management and improve user experience, making visual editors a crucial feature in modern headless CMSs.
