Our New Next.js Library Is Now in Beta

Next.js has emerged as a dominant framework in the React ecosystem, particularly for developers working with Prismic sites, prompting the introduction of @prismicio/next, an integration designed to streamline the developer experience by simplifying the setup of previews in Next.js projects. Previously, setting up Prismic Previews required developers to manually integrate a script tag, create custom hooks, and implement logic to manage preview states, which was cumbersome, especially for agencies. The new <PrismicPreview /> wrapper automates these tasks, enhancing efficiency by managing the Prismic Toolbar and preview events with minimal setup. Currently in beta, the library is seeking user feedback to refine features and address any issues, with plans to expand support for more Next.js functionalities in the future. This initiative aims to enhance user productivity and focus on high-quality web experiences, with ongoing community engagement and updates to further optimize the library.
